About Us
A mission in mind
Electraflex was founded by Rithek Agheda, a 22 year old student who encountered first hand the poor EV charging infrastructure we currently have in the UK. Once the idea of mobilising such infrastructure came to mind, Rithek set out on developing a much more efficient, user-friendly charging network that favours convenience over complexity.
Electraflex has been awarded 1st Prize through the 2024 Santander Universities Enterprise Bursary securing £1500 in funding and exclusive mentorship
The Challenges With Grid Based EV Charging
Charge point availability
The UK currently has over 1,000,000 EV’s on it’s roads. Only 16% of our 30,000 charging points are rapid and get people back on the road within a reasonable amount of time.
Charging infrastructure cost
Grid based EV infrastructure such as EV rapid chargers can cost upwards of £100,000 to install
EV charging infrastructure installation
Grid Based EV infrastructure is not only incredibly costly, but also requires lengthy amounts of time for its construction, being constrained to the grid and getting permits from local councils
